Drawing has been a passion of mine ever since I could remember. In my homeland, art is not perceived to be a way to earn a living, therefore it took a while for me to adopt this passion professionally, but since 2003 I have been working in a very disciplined fashion.
Book covers, character design and fantasy-themed illustrations in general make up the bulk of my works. Although I pride myself in being a hopeless sci-fi fan, it is very easy to be typecasted in this sector and not a have chance to get sci-fi or macabre commissions which are actually my favorite themes. I have been climbing a ladder ever since I started this job, and I've come to realize that there is no end to ladders. It is my ultimate joy to learn something new, try new shortcuts and techniques with every piece I produce.
So to round off, I'm a hard-working guy, love challenges, love being a freelancer, an avid comic reader, gamer, movie buff and 1/6 collector... |
